Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981, is a model and actor that has been a part of a number of TV shows as well as movies. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. Brandt began her acting career in New Zealand on Diplomatic Immunity. The actress has appeared in a variety of TV series during the past 10 years. This includes Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. From 2016, Brandt is playing the character of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born within Cape Town South Africa. In her later teens she immigrated together with family members in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's professional career began as a fashion model when she appeared in magazine and television advertisements. The rise of her to fame as a model began while she began working in retail and IT recruitment. Her first starring performance in the year 2009 on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character of Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021, she appeared on Spartacus Blood and Sand as the young slave girl named Naevia. Her role as Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred with the actor Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). Her first role was Mazikeen the demon that is a bounty hunter in the hit Netflix show Lucifer. She has played her the most significant role to this point. The show features her co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
